A brief project from my undergraduate years involving the design of a single family vacation home, with a fictional lakeside site.

The house is a gateway as well as an extension to the lake. This is achieved through the home’s seamless connection to the dock, as it stretches through the central atrium space.

The home’s interior allows private bedrooms and public spaces to meld together. This, in turn, gives all spaces a connection to one another as well as with the lake.
